Evening Propane Leak in Phoenixville Heights

At 4:20 PM, our department and the Chester County Hazmat Team were alerted for a hazardous materials incident on Platinum Drive in the new Phoenixville Heights Development. The caller reported a 60-gallon propane cylinder fell on its side, rolled down a driveway, and was actively leaking.

New Pet Oxygen Masks Added on Rescue 65

A new "Wag'N O2 Fur Life" pet oxygen mask kit has been placed on our rescue truck. The kit has specially-designed masks in three different sizes, includes a quick start guide with instructions on CPR for cats & dogs, and a kennel lead for safe animal handling.

Tony served our department for nearly two decades. He began working at West End Fire Company #3 (formerly part of the Phoenixville Fire Department) around the mid‑2000s. He later transferred to Phoenix Hose, Hook & Ladder Co. No. 1, where he continued working part‑time until his retirement in 2021.
