The Phoenixville Fire Department extends an invitation to the community to take part in the new fire station dedication on Saturday, August 20th beginning at 1 p.m.

A parade from the current station on Church St. to the new station on Paradise St. will kick off the festivities, followed by the building dedication and housing of emergency vehicles at 2 p.m. Paradise St. will be closed to vehicle traffic between the fire station and Smithworks Blvd. during the event. However, pedestrians will be able to use the new Paradise St. Bridge.

Light refresments and drinks will be available, along with t-shirts and other commemorative items for purchase.
