EMS Week symbolizes our national recognition and gratitude for the extraordinary service EMS practitioners provide in responding to the healthcare needs of our communities.

Whether it be basic First Aid & CPR, or the level of Emergency Medical Technician or higher, all of your Phoenixville firefighters and fire-police are certified to some level of emergency medical training. This training is used in quick-response to assist and supplement ambulance crews when appropriate.

Primary ambulance service in the Borough of Phoenixville is provided by the Phoenixville Division of Trappe Fire Company No. 1 EMS. This ambulance is housed at your Phoenixville Fire Department on Church Street. When this primary ambulance is busy handing an emergency, additional medical emergencies will be covered by another EMS agency, such as West End Fire Ambulance, the main station of Trappe Fire Company No. 1, Royersford Fire Department or other agencies.
