| Shortly after 2 PM, our department was alerted for an engine to assist Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company with a house fire. The house was located on Magnolia Drive in Schuylkill Township. Rescue 65, along with Chief & Deputy 65 responded on the assignment.
Landscapers in the area used a garden hose to extinguish the flames. Firefighters continued to wet down hot spots and went inside to check if the fire had extended into the interior of the house - which it had not. The Chester County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating this incident. |
