Afternoon Car Fire in the East End

At 3:44 PM, our department was alerted for a vehicle fire on Kenalcon Drive in the borough. The callers reported an internal-combustion engine vehicle on fire with exposure to a house and another vehicle.

Chief, Deputy, Assistant and Rescue 65 responded to the incident. Units arrived to confirm a vehicle burning in the driveway. Crews deployed a single hose line and quickly brought the fire under control.

Our department cleared the scene in about 25 minutes.
