Shortly after 7 PM, our department was alerted for an engine to assist UPT Fire & Emergency Services with a house fire. The house was located on Bridge Street in the Mont Clare section of Upper Providence Township. Deputy, Rescue and Squad 65 responded on the assignment. The report was a kitchen fire with everyone out of the home.

Rescue 65 and Squad 68-1 arrived on location simultaneously. Rescue 65 assumed the role of First Due Engine. Firefighters deployed handlines and secured a water supply. Crews worked to extinguish the fire and clear smoke from the home.

Phoenixville units cleared the scene after about 40 minutes.
