At 10:06 AM, our department was alerted for Ladder 65 to assist Kimberton Fire Company with a house fire on the 4200 block of State Road (Route 29) in Charlestown Township. Chief and Ladder 65 initially responded on the assignment, followed by Engine 65-1.

Chief 65 was assigned to fireground operations and the crew from the ladder was assigned to the roof. Our crew assisted with opening up the roof around the chimney to access the area on fire. This fire was a result of a fire in the chimney which had extended to the roof area.
