|Please Consider Donating to our Annual Fund Drive|
|October 29, 2023|
Dear Friend and Neighbor,
Fall is upon us and cooler weather has arrived. After just over a year in our new building at 150 Paradise St, it’s safe to say that we’ve settled in. While we are no longer at the center of town, we strive to be at the center of your hearts. To do this, we’ve ramped up our efforts to engage in community-oriented activities. Our goal is to be available to residents not only during emergencies, but during your day-to-day life. You may have seen us out and about at the annual Dogwood Fair giving firetruck rides, at First Fridays on Bridge St, Touch-a-Truck and countless other events. We also welcomed many of you into our home for our free Easter Bunny Event, Sundaes on Sunday and Open House just a few weeks ago. Several of you even dropped in for private tours or just to say hi.
Your donations not only help to ensure we can continue this level of community involvement, but they help with recruitment and retention of our volunteers. As some of you may not know, there is a critical shortage of volunteers across the fire service. While we continue to work with the Borough to ensure superior fire protection, your help is needed. Please consider the importance of our service and assist us in keeping our community safe. Last year we mailed 9,796 letters and received 505 responses, or just over 5%. Help us reach our goal of a 10% contribution rate by mailing in your tax-deductible donation today!
If you did not receive a fund drive notice, you may send your donation in a standard envelope, write “Fund Drive” on the front and include your name and address inside. Mail to:
