Just prior to 11:30 PM, our department and Trappe Fire Company No. 1 EMS of Phoenixville were alerted for a vehicle crash with entrapment on Starr Street at Prospect Street. While enroute to the crash, county communications advised there was a report that the occupant was now out of the vehicle.

Crews arrived to find a single-vehicle crash with the vehicle on its side. The occupant had self-extricated. A utility pole which had been struck and snapped was hanging over the roadway. One patient was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

Starr Street remained closed for a few hours until utility crews replaced the damaged pole.

Fire crews cleared the scene after about half an hour.
