Child Abuse Clearance Check Instructions:

*This clearance MUST be turned in with your application*

1) Go to the website: https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home

2) Click on "Create Individual Login"

3) To set up your account, you must create a Keystone ID. They will provide you a Password in your email.

4) Click on "Access my Clearances". Input your Keystone ID and the provided Password.

5) You will be prompted to set a new password

6) Log back in with your Keystone ID and your new Password

7) Accept Terms

8) Click "Create Clearance Application". Read the "Information You Will Need" statement. This gives you important pointers.

9) When prompted to give a reason for performing this check, click on the "Volunteer Box", as you will not be charged for this check.

10) Input all your information

11) You can either print your Clearance out or have it mailed to you. Keep a copy for yourself, and provide one to me. Please put your clearance in the mail slot of the station front door, or through the mail slot of the board room in the basement.
