Firefighters from Phoenixville and Liberty Fire Co. of Spring City recently participated in vehicle rescue training during our weekly drill. Vehicle rescue typically involves extricating one or more individuals who are confined or trapped inside or beneath a vehicle.

This session provided our senior personnel with an opportunity to sharpen their skills, while giving our new members their first chance to operate our battery-powered electric-hydraulic rescue tools and reciprocating saws.
