| At 5:10 PM, our department was alerted for a three-vehicle crash on Nutt Road (Route 23) between Buchanan and Wheatland Streets. The caller reported one vehicle was overturned. Additional callers reported the operator was trapped in the overturned vehicle.
Rescue, Engine, Utility 65-2, and MICU 65-2 responded to the incident. Rescue 65 arrived to find the operator of the vehicle had been removed by people who stopped to help. Firefighters assisted with patient care, clearing debris from the roadway, and diverting traffic around the scene.
One person was transported to Paoli Hospital. Fire units cleared the scene after about 35 minutes.

At 11:18 PM, our department was alerted for a crash involving a vehicle into a utility pole on Nutt Road (Route 23) at Cherry Street.
Rescue, Utility 65-2, and MICU 65-1 responded to the incident. Rescue 65 arrived to confirm a single-vehicle had struck and damaged a utility pole.
There were no injuries reported. The roadway was closed until the vehicle was towed from the scene. PECO arrived to investigate the damage to their pole. Fire units cleared the scene after about 30 minutes. |
