At 18:26, our department was alerted for a BBQ grill fire in the Winding River Development. The caller reported the propane tank was on fire. Deputy, Rescue and Engine 65-1 responded on the assignment. Crews arrived to find a propane tank on fire, connected to a BBQ grill. The fire was extinguished and the tank removed to the yard. Firefighters continued cooling the tank with water for a period of time.

Engine 65-1 left the scene to assist an ambulance from Royersford Fire Department with access to French Creek Manor to investigate a medical alarm.
