PHOENIXVILLE, PA - Today, we received new smoke alarms through Operation SAVE-A-LIFE. Smoke alarms save lives. Smoke alarms that are properly installed and maintained play a vital role in reducing fire deaths and injuries. If there is a fire in your home, smoke spreads fast and you need smoke alarms to give you time to get out.

Everyone is reminded to have working smoke alarms:
» in each bedroom
» outside each separate sleeping area
» at least one on each level of your home

Test your alarms each month. For more tips on smoke alarm use and maintenance, visit: https://bit.ly/3KiXKy2.

If you live in the Borough of Phoenixville and need smoke alarms installed, contact us via email: SmokeAlarms@PhoenixvilleFD.org or our Administrative phone number: (610) 933-9717.

Thank you to 6abc Action News, Philadelphia Fire Department, Kidde Fire Safety, The Home Depot & TOYOTA for making this free Operation SAVE-A-LIFE program possible.
