At 1:37 PM, our department was alerted for a vehicle fire on Marshall Street at Emmett Street. The caller reported fire from the engine compartment and that the car was approximately five feet from a house.

Chief, Engine and Rescue 65 responded to the incident. Firefighters arrived and quickly extinguished the fire. There was no damage to the house and no injuries were reported.
